The Earth Biogenome Project (EBP) is an international initiative that aims to sequence, catalog, and characterize the genomes of all the Earth’s eukaryote biodiversity. Built up as a global network of networks, it will have an unprecedented impact on biology, medicine, and biodiversity protection. It will contribute, finally, to the well-being and economic improvement of our societies.
The Catalan Initiative for the Earth Biogenome Project (CBP) is a regional node of the EBP led by the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC), Societat Catalana de Biologia (SCB) and Institució Catalana d’Història Natural (ICHN).
